Education - ESC Academy at Tewksbury
Special Education programs currently at the ESC Academy
at Tewksbury include many of the former programs housed
at the Sandhill School in Flemington. Special Education
programs provide an individualized educational experience
for classified students with emotional, cognitive
or multiple handicaps. Whenever appropriate, the goal
is to prepare students to return to their sending
school district. Highlights of programming at ESC
Academy at Tewksbury include challenging academic
programs that provide supports so students can be
successful, individualized behavior programs so that
students achieve self-control and increased self esteem
and individualized work experiences that lead to post
high school employment or college.
Special Education
- ESC School in West Amwell
Special Education programs currently at the ESC School
in West Amwell provide an individualized educational
experience for classified students ages preschool
through 12th grade with emotional, cognitive and/or
multiple handicaps. Whenever appropriate, the goal
is to prepare students to return to their sending
school district. Highlights of programming at ESC
School in West Amwell include challenging academic
programs that provide supports so students can be
successful, individualized behavior programs so that
students achieve self-control and increased self esteem
and individualized work experiences that lead to post
high school employment or college. Small classes,
a life skills apartment, computer lab, and an art
studio allow students the opportunities for success
in many areas of their education.
