MEMBERSHIP PROCESS (18A:6-51 through 18A:6-56)

Member Districts of the Hunterdon County Educational Services Commission (HCESC) are afforded reduced pricing for services with no membership dues. Interested boards should follow the following process:

        - A Board of Education must approve by board resolution a
         membership request to the HCESC.
                 
                  Resolutions should be passed no later than March 1 for
                  membership effective with the HCESC's June reorganization.

                  Resolutions should be mailed to:

         - Upon receipt of the signed Board Resolution, the HCESC Board of
           Directors will consider the petition for membership.

         - Once the HCESC passes a formal Board Resolution accepting the            Board of Education as a member of our Representative Assembly,
           effective with the June reorganization, a copy of said resolution
           will be forwarded to the Board of Education.

         - The member district must annually elect one representative to sit on
            the HCESC Board. An individual so elected shall be a member of
            the district's board of education or the Superintendent or Chief
            School Administrator
